Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 15, 2026

1. Scope and contact

Kyntra is a community platform. This policy applies to information processed through Kyntra’s products, services and support channels. For a privacy question or request, email support@kyntra.com.ng with the subject “Privacy Request”.

2. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to create and operate an account, such as your name, username, contact details you provide, profile photo and bio. We also process the content and activity you choose to create or share: posts, comments, reactions, community participation, direct and group messages, Community Space activity, event and tournament participation, Arena activity, marketplace orders, wallet records and support requests.

When you watch a broadcast embedded from another provider, that provider may independently collect information under its own terms and privacy policy. Kyntra may process your related Kyntra activity, such as a shared link, community conversation, event participation or reaction, but does not operate the embedded broadcast service itself.

When you request verification, creator access, a withdrawal or another feature that requires identity checks, we may process the documents and verification media you submit, including government ID information and selfie or face-verification material. We also process transaction, payout and receipt information needed for marketplace, wallet, premium-verification and related services.

To protect the platform and make it work, we receive limited technical and security information such as IP address, device or browser details, session and sign-in activity, notification tokens, diagnostics and fraud or security signals.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and improve the features you ask us to provide; personalize your account experience; deliver notifications and customer support; process purchases, wallet activity and payouts; review identity or verification requests; detect abuse, fraud and security issues; enforce our rules; and meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Kyntra may use automated systems to help identify spam, harmful activity, fraud signals and relevant content. Human review may be used where appropriate, including for enforcement and verification decisions.

4. How information is shared

Your profile, posts, comments and other activity can be visible to the people or communities you choose to share with, subject to the privacy controls and feature design of the service. Messages and live participation are shared with the intended participants or audience.

We may share information with providers that help us run Kyntra, such as infrastructure, payment, verification, security and customer-support providers, only as needed for their services. We may also disclose information where required to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights and safety, or investigate abuse. We do not sell personal information.

5. Cookies and local storage

Kyntra uses essential browser storage and similar technologies to remember settings, maintain sessions, protect the service and support core functionality. For example, this website stores your selected light or dark theme locally in your browser.

6. Retention and account deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to operate Kyntra, meet the purposes described here and satisfy legal, fraud-prevention, security, tax and accounting requirements. You can request account deletion in Settings or by contacting support. Deletion makes the account inaccessible immediately. The account is then scheduled for deletion and anonymisation after a six-month retention period, unless a legal or security hold requires more time.

At finalisation, Kyntra removes or anonymises profile, contact, device, notification and identity-media data, and deletes verification assets where applicable. Limited payment, fraud, security and legal-compliance records may remain under restricted access for their required retention period. Backups expire through their normal security lifecycle. Content that other people received, including conversation history, may remain in their view after your account is disassociated.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and security monitoring, to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; please use a strong, unique password and protect access to your account.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may be able to request access to, correction of, deletion of or a portable copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; ask for information about significant automated decisions; or complain to the appropriate data-protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request and may retain limited information where law permits or requires it.

9. Children

Kyntra is not intended for anyone under 13. Users who are under the age of majority in their location must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review the account.

10. International processing

Kyntra and its service providers may process information in locations other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Kyntra changes or when the law requires it. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service.

12. Contact
